Meet Our Kennel Attendants

Lea

Lea

Kennel Attendant

Lea began working at MGAH in the fall of 2020. She was originally born in Caen, France but spent most of her childhood in the U.S. where she grew up in Greensboro, NC. She graduated from Western Guilford High School and is currently a sophomore at UNCW majoring in biology. Lea hopes to go to vet school in the future! A cat named Tinkerbell calls Lea her human but she has had many foster animals over the years who have a special place in her heart. In her free time, she enjoys baking, working out, and spending time with family and friends.
Bobbie

Bobbie

Kennel Attendant

Bobbie is originally from Boone, NC, and grew up on a small farm full of beloved dogs, cats, and horses. Her love of animals led her to achieve a B.S. in Zoology from North Carolina State University as well as an M.A. from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where she studied Psychology – specifically animal behavior and comparative cognition. She joined Myrtle Grove Animal Hospital in the summer of 2021 and has since decided to pursue further education to eventually become an RVT. Her family includes two precious Siamese-mix cats, Simon (pictured) and Mattie, and one Doberman-Shepherd dog, Zeppelin. If not working with animals, you will most likely find her reading, knitting, or spending time outdoors.
